ne of the challenges of those who are diabetic has been what to eat at a giving time or what to take at one time or the other that can be suitable for their health. And for this many die for wrong choice of food some got paralysed doe to a very high blood sugar in their system.

And not eating what the body desires but what will not spike their blood sugar. For one to survive diabetes one has to desist from gluttony, and that is just the fact about survival.

When a person develops diabetes, their bodies either don't create enough insulin or can't use it properly, causing glucose to build up in the bloodstream. High blood glucose levels can

result in a variety of symptoms, ranging from tiredness to heart disease.

NOTE:In making a choice of food to eat as we itemized below one should avoid processed food or be careful of eating processed food because processed food can destroy or lower the natural nutritional substances benefits of a natural food item.

1. Whole wheat Bread:

WHOLE W. BREAD
White bread has been said to contribute in the spiking of blood sugar. for that it has been advisable for people with diabetes to go for whole wheat bre is a low sugar introduction in the blood, which we call a low GI (Glycemic Index).



2. Fruits: Fruits are said to contain plenty water and Fiber which balanced up the sugar content in them and making them a bit safe for eating.Fruits like pineapple and melon are not included among these kinds of fruit due to their contents.
Some of the fruits rich in fiber are:
-avocado
-Guava
-blackberries
-pomegranate
-kiwifruit
-pears
-Oranges
-blueberries
-tangerine
-strawberries
-cherries
-bananas
-apple
-mangoes
-pawpaw

And to achieve a better result in taken fruits, it is better to eat them with their flesh and should not be turn to juice. For turning them to juice can increase the GI content of the fruit.

SWEET POTATOES
3 Sweet Potatoes and Yam: These are said to contain a low GI index because of the amount of fiber they contain. They are said to be good in regulating of blood sugar. Besides they are healthful and nutritious.



4. Oat Meal and Oat Bran: Oats is said to have a low GI score . which is not likely to cause a spike in the blood sugar.Oat is also said to contain what is called B-glucans, which can help with the following:

OAT MEAL
It minimizes post-meal glucose and insulin response because it contain plenty of fiber which slows down the rate of digestion, therefore there it is healthy food to eat.

Improve glycemic management and insulin sensitivity.
lowering cholesterol levels in the blood (fats) 

PEANUT
5.Nuts: Nuts are said to contain a low GI which can be suitable for diabetic persons.Nuts contains plant protein, unsaturated fatty acids and minerals such as antioxidant vitamines, phytochemicals, magnesium and potassium which are beneficial to the health of the body.Nuts are peanuts, walnut,tiger nuts, cola nuts, cashew nut etc



SOYA BEANS



6.Legumes:These include beans, soybeans, peas, chickpeas, peanuts, lentils,etc. They are good sources of protein to the body. They have low GI and can be helpful in maintaining a healthy blood sugar..



BROWN RICE

7. Brown Rice : Brown rice is said to be healthier than white rice, It does not give a spike, rather it contains minerals.. Eating white rice spikes up blood sugar seriously since white rice has a high GI index..One can as well go for basmalti rice, that is suitable.

 

FISH MEAL
8. Fish:  Eating fish provide essential nutrients to the body ranging from protein, omega 3 fatty acids, iodine, vitamin D and calcium. It does not contain carbohydrate so it has healthy score in regulating of blood sugar.



GREEN VEGETABLES
10. Green Vegetables: Eating vegetables is one of the ways to improve and maintain good health.Vegetables are said to be one of the good source of dietary fiber which help in the absorption of  foods in the body. It contains vitamin K, which helps to protect arteries from damage and enhancing a healthy arteries in the body.
